So yeah, while I'm up writing about 11+ days worth of stuff, I'm going to bring this up to date.  Anyway, I've done my Asda shopping at this point, cost me about 94 quid, between getting stuff to fill up my cupboard and a couple of magazines and DVDs (Aliens quadrology was a steal at 16 quid!).  I ended up being gone for oer 3 hours, but before all that, while I was waiting for my bus, some 14-15 year old kid wanted me to get him cigarettes for his sister, which I constantly said "no" to, but he constantly pestered me, until about 20 minutes later, where he said that I was pissing him off, and that I was fucking him about.  I replied that I wasn't.  He also commented on the look that I gave him at the time, which must have been an intimidating look if he were to comment on it in that capacity!  The fire burns brightly once more in my eyes, it seems... which is most certainly a goood thing.  I did think he was going to go for me at one point (along with his mate, who in fairness, seemed decent enough), but he kinda left me alone after telling me I' be waiting for the bus a while, and that was about 10-15 minutes before my bus came, then yeah shopping.  I also got Advent Children, then got a taxi home.

Not really much else happened... so yeah, that's it till the other entry, which'll be before this one >.>

I decided in the interests of... stuff, I'm moving more recent stuff here, so here's a continuation:

On the camera front, I'm now considering the Fujifilm Finepix F20 (or here) as a strong runner for the camera I'll choose, and so far it fulfills a lot of what I need, which is good.  On Sunday night, I watched Interstella 5555 which is composed of all the videos on Daft Punk's Discovery album, which was pretty damn cool. Finally got to see them all for once.  On Monday night, I had my first saveloy, and it reminded me of a hot dog actually, also started to like spam fritters as well, and I'm also addicted to a drink called Rio, which is mixed tropical fruits, which is only sold in my local chip shop.  Anyway, today I plan on finally tidying my room and doing my laundry, as well as bringing back my battery.  Mum is coming up to London tomorrow, and I am looking at going down to them on Thursday, if I can afford it, so we'll see how that goes.  One thing I should mention as well is that I've been getting cheekier and more confidant as of late, which is good.  I should prolly mention as well that I have finally started to appriciate Madcap's Flaming Duty from Tangerine Dream.  It's also taken me about 5-6 days to write the entry to summarise what happened while I was in Ireland now, go figure.

Mum was supposed to come up Wednesday with my nan and 2 sisters, but she called up at about 8:30am saying that it was going to rain that, although I don't think it has yet, seems sunny!  It ended up raining in the evening though!  They'll be up tomorrow now (minus my nan - who hates London), which provides me with an opportunity to do my laundry this morning, shopping and my room.  Tomorrow I'll get that Fujifilm, seeing as it's the best camera for me in the sub-£100 range, especially with the high ISO rating.

Your dominant hues are red and blue. You're confident and like showing people new ideas. You play well with others and can be very influential if you want to be.

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life can be bright or dark, depending on the situation. You are flexible and see things objectively.

Your dominant hues are red and blue. You're confident and like showing people new ideas. You play well with others and can be very influential if you want to be.

Your saturation level is lower than average - You don't stress out over things and don't understand people who do. Finishing projects may sometimes be a challenge, but you schedule time as you see fit and the important things all happen in the end, even if not everyone sees your grand master plan.

Your outlook on life is bright. You see good things in situations where others may not be able to, and it frustrates you to see them get down on everything.

Interesting my colours are red and blue... I've been turning more towards blue lately for some reason or other. I'm not sure how accurate these are at the moment, although my dark outlook on life may be fairly accurate.  Anyway, 2-3 more days till I have to worry about the uni accommodation and where I'll go, although uni is still rough for me.  Yet again, I've not gone in.  And the worrying thing is that I promised my mum that I'd be going in till the end of uni, and this is the last week! T_T   Dammit all!  I wish I knew what was wrong with me.  I mean at UEL in my first year, I had relatively few problems, save for getting the work in on time, and in fairness, I never knew that each campus had a different submission deadline, I mean fuck that!  Then there was Design Methods, which I hated with a passion!  Of course then there was Chris, who constantly undermined me while I was there, or at least in my first year.  I was pretty alright after the first semester (B Yr. 1), then I was still okay after semester A (Sem. B starter), but when I got into semester B of year 2, I started to lose faith in UEL.  Some people (particularly those who went to UEL, and one person in particular comes to mind - yes you!) will perhaps wonder how I had so much faith in UEL, perhaps, but it really is quite simple.

It was obviously the excitement of going to a university, and the newness of it all, though admittedly I had an edge of cynicism as well, to keep me from going crazy... I mean, there was quote a few good things about UEL, but at the same time, it started going downhill as well, there were some outrageous things going on there!  Of course, now I'm out of there, I'm happier, but I still am flopping about like a fish out of water and I dunno why.  I mean, the first semester was fine, but then in the second semester, and second term, it got worse, I started feeling very anti-social for some reason, and now as of the end of term 3, I've hardly been to any classes.  It's funny.  And also, I'm in between a rock and a hard place; I know I'm capable of doing this degree, I mean at the stage I am now, I can set up a PC and install Windows on it, and get it hooked up to the internet, install hardware, and generally maintain PCs, and I'm also able to do websites to some degree, as well as knowing how to work Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.  I also have extensive knowledge on PC security; removing spyware and bolstering the PC's security, as well as firewall configuation, etc.

Oh, i just dunno at the moment.  Either way, my plans for today are to do the laundry, get food, and do shopping.  I also purchased the full set of Total Annihilation, Core Contngency and Battle Tactice, which is my last eBay splurge for a a while, although I'm considering looking at using eBay and Amazon for purchasing certain things, such as books or games, because it works out cheaper.  Additionally, I need to start compiling a grocery list as well as price comparisons, so when I do my shopping in future, I allocate an entire day for it, and go to the cheapest places and can thus save money.  Regarding shopping for games... I won't stop going to Game, but I won't do it as often either, unless they're cheaper than online shopping.  I'm going to kerb my impulsive spending, so I can start saving more money for important stuff, and don't drain things.  To this end, I'm also going to start looking at cooking my own food instead of having ready-made so often, specifically with regards to burgers, as for less than the price of one burger, I can get myself 12 baps and 8 burgers.  Ketchup and cheese are generally bought anyway, albeit real cheese, and not the processed crap.  I'm also going to look at trying to get more veg in my diet too, already I'm getting myself into buying juice again, which I intend to keep doing, and also buying mixed leaf which will help with my 5 a day.  I figure also I should look at trimming down my tummy a little too, seeing as it sticks out a little too much!

I do wonder if I'll actually start doing this, although I have a feeling I'm making a start, given that with my rice pudding, I'm looking at having raisins/sultanas mixed in.

Either way, I need to start a few re-evaluations of things.

So, first day back at uni, and I have to wait till later to go in, because I need to wait for some tickets to arrive for a Tangerine Dream concert at the end of this week. Other than that, it's really quiet... eBay stuff is trickling in, have my Commodore 64, my Night Moves (with a second one arriving soon, d'oh!), and a V:TM book, one of 4 I ordered, and am pondering a fifth one at the moment. I also got Vangers, and am waiting for Hexplore and Enemy Infestation to arrive, along with Enterprise (Original) plans and a few more C64 games... I may have to consider staying in till 10:30am each day for the next few days now, to ensure arrival of stuff, go figure. Uni bus is due to depart in the next half hour, I think... kinda forgotten at this point, heh... actually, it's in an hour. Either way, I think another nap is in order now, need to attempt to fix my sleeping patterns, as well as send some bread back because the best before date is the same day I bought it, go figure. I also am gonna be visiting another UKCBer after uni, if I actually get around to going in on time!

Either way, I need to go and sort out a few things, namely my bread, renaming of tags and uni stuff, or I'm screwed, really. I'm also looking at using my LJ as my main page for my new website, which is now hosted on a UK server, meaning speedy uploads! I do of course need to get some actual proper content up, but as of now, the following sites are uploaded, albeit unchanged save for minor link updates:

http://www.brokenxeno.net (Scott's website)
http://www.stormkeeper.net (my website)
http://epiphany.st-timelines.org
http://horsemen.st-timelines.org
http://independence.st-timelines.org

The others need either uploading, transferring or an actual site being made! Either way, over the next few months I'll be kept busy!

Some quizzes:

You Are the Super Ego

While some people may think first and act later... you often don't act at all.

You rather be safe than sorry, and you take ethics pretty seriously.

Like everyone, you have some pretty crazy desires. But unlike everyone, you restrain yourself.

You have high standards for your own behavior. And you happily exceed them.

You Are Agnostic

God? Religion? Maybe... you're just not sure.
You're still figuring out your spiritual path... or figuring out you really don't care.
You believe that no one really can know the true story about religion or God.
So you might as well relax a little. You'll go crazy trying make sense of it all.

Well, at the moment, I'm quite sick, so haven't done a thing... suspect I have the flu.  Anyway, I'm gonna go back to bed in a few... nothing really happened, save for the fact I did some shopping on Friday and had a Pizza Hut with my friend.

So yeah, fuck all has been going on... I did help a Reading University Computing student though... their course sucks as they get basic notes, and that's about it.  They also have to do a complex program with no code cutting, which is sucky and dumb.  Kinda glad I'm not studying there :|

Things aren't going very well at the moment.  I have some major blockage regarding coursework, there's been a few IRC network issues, and to top it all off, I wasn't accepted to stay for the next academic session at halls, meaning I have to move out in June, if the situation doesn't change... plus, I have to wait till tomorrow - though more than likely Thursday to find out why.  :|

Things aren't going well at the moment. >_<

I guess I'll just go shopping today, and do my haircut some other time... because by the time I can be arsed to go out, the normal shops will prolly be closed :(
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
So yeah, it's now 3 days since my last "proper" entry and really, nothing much has happened.  I finally did my shopping at Asda (hence the title - which had a leak coming from its pipes as I was entering via the carpark, as well as the mankiest toilets I seen; I felt so unclean after using them, but I was desparate to go, so... *sigh*), which set me back 80 quid (down from 100!), but in fairness, it is 50, as the new shaver I bought was 30 quid alone!  I had to buy it, as my mum bought me a bodygroom, whoops!  Of course, it was by recommendation of a friend of my mum's.  I did use it on my face, sure, but it's not designed for it.  I also decided to test it out on my stomach, so there is practically no hair on my stomach now... it looks weird :|  Anyway,  I still need a haircut, but I'll work on that at some point.  I bought myself two DVDs as well; Doom and Sin City.  I've also not played WoW in a few days, really should... lol.  I also need to move my website stuff over, as well as make some changes, which'll be forthcoming and will be mentioned soon.

I'm also gonna be going out today, after a short nap...  gonna get that haircut, and a few other things.  Also gonna get Company of Heroes, and sell off my Dawn of War, as CoH has the Game of the Year edition with it, so why not?  Either way, I'm off to Eltham first for that haircut, and to see if I can sell off DoW, then get CoH... after that, I'm off to Bexleyheath to do some more shopping, then to end, I'll do some laundry.  My bedroom is finally looking tidier, which is a good sign anyway!  I never went to Bromley, but I may today... I'll give them a call as well, at some point.  Either way, looks like things are going a little bit smoother!

Now, if things would go that way for my uni stuff, i'd be a very happy man... well, I'd be happy if I got laid too, but I can't have my cake and eat it, can I?
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
God, that was crazy!  I finally got my shopping done anyway.  Came to about £110 quid, which is a record, though given I spent about 34 quid on "extras" that I normally don't buy, such as condoms (9 quid for 6x non-latex!) and some Jack Daniels, which, after the year, and the day I had, I need!

Well, it started easy enough, save for the fact that the TFL was right... the N21 doesn't go to Bexleyheath, of course by the time I asked, I was in Sidcup, but I turned around heading to Lewisham, that was fine.  Got off at Lewisham, just missed the N89, had to wait for another one, it being 3am by this point.  This Italian (homeless?) guy comes up to me, not once but twice speaking something intelligible, about sleeping at a house or some crap like that then he asks me for 2 quid, which I didn't have on me.  Eventually, I get rid of him and watch him talk to two other people (locals I bet), who wondered what he was saying as well, only in more colourful words, which made me laugh to myself, seeing as it wasn't ust me who had trouble understanding him.  Then the bus came and headed up to Bexleyheath, which was by far the easiest part of the whole trip!  The taxi was easy as well, and overall, the shopping was easy... spent time talking to people, and felt better for it.

All in all, I spent about 3.5 hours outside, and now I'm fucking wrecked, and I have class to attend for 9am, bus is leaving at 8:15... I may skip it till the PDP session because I really feel like curling up into a ball at the moment, I feel fairly achey and stuff. :|
