I was roused from my sleep yesterday morning by the doorbell (after having a few bizarre dreams I barely remember, though I have to admit I seem to remember them a little more these days) by the dude charging up the meter for the flat, and again, it looks like no one is here.  Anyway, I have a lot of work to do, in order to get myself ready for Prime Time.  First things first though, internet will need to be restored, by the very thing I dismissed earlier; my mobile... and with good reason.  I'm on the cusp of the coverage area, so everything is slow or doesn't work, which sucks.  It's about the only thing I can do while I wake up and dry off from my shower, mind.  After this, I'll need to brush my teeth and head to residential to check stuff.  Amazing what a night's sleep makes you realise.  The unfortunate part is that I could have done this last night if I recalled, but no matter, it's done now.  Next is checking Residential and mail stuff.  My mobile internet isn't bad, for the record, just that I'm out of coverage, so it performs bad.  Anyway, lack of internets gives me time to get much-needed stuff done, like getting rid of crap from my room.  However, I'm gonna work on this till about 11:30, seeing as I have a fair bit to say about the past couple days, although I'll prolly update this entry later to expand it to cover the last entry, once I have worked out what dates I'm covering, but either way, the trip home was pretty good, although going towards Dun Laoghaire, I had a couple of mishaps.

First of all, after I got to Connolly Station, with 4 minutes to spare on my suggested schedule (this will be important later on), I missed my train, and I was on the platform and all!  The reason for this however was I forgot which direction I was supposed to be going.  This may sound silly now, bit both Bray and Howth have beaches and are along the coast, albeit in opposite directions.  However, I caught a train going direct to Dun Laoghaire, but because I was so stressed, I got off at Blackrock, which is 2-3 stops away!  Luckily for me, there was a DART going to Greystones in the next few minutes, or I'd have been screwed!  Anyway, I made it to Dun Laoghaire port in a reasonable amount of time, and check-in was grand, though it was a bit empty (and a bit scary) going to the ship, as I thought I had missed it!  Luckily for me, I had arrived in plenty of time (relatively speaking), so once I was on the ferry, I had nothing to worry about, so I hopped onto UKCB and FSIRC to check stuff, and on UKCB I had a friend of mine wondering what was wrong with me because I'd barely been on, response being my PC in Ireland was screwed, graphics card gave up the ghost on Thursday, though at least I got a few things done before that.  After all that, I sat around and did relatively little, until after the man sitting next to me went off.  A few minutes later, I got myself bruunch and headed back to my seat, where a few minutes later, the man opposite me returned (there was also a woman next to me reading, and earlier there was a Korean guy - I think - beside the man and opposite the woman, who was at a window seat) and then we started chatting, and he gave me some advice about having a positive attitude, and he mentioned about how he met his wife in Sussex (after I told him I was born there), in a place called Hailsham (if I recall), at a hospital party, which he found out about in Brighton.

Anyway, after finishing the story (which was a lovely one),  he shook my hand and left, then I started talking to the lady beside me.  Turns out it was her first time to Holyhead, and that she was from Enniskillen (sp?) in Northern Ireland.  Anyway, I had a chat with her for a bit, before she got her back off conveyer belt B, while mine arrived on A, go figure.  Anyhow, I got my bag and began to make it to the station, when I spotted a train straight to Euston from Holyhead, and decided to wait for that, as there was less faffing about, and as I found out, it'd save me about an hour getting home.  Admittedly though, once I got home, it wasn't all that good, to be honest.  As you know from the entry on the 21st, the place was practically abandoned, no washing was done, and someone stole the shelf from my room, and it was also completely dark... anyway, we all know what happened, so I'll just steam on, and mention that a lot of people have moved in on Saturday, including two girls, or a girl and a guy, not sure.  Either way, I didn't get up to much, and I just realised about that parcel too and what it was, was from eBay.  Saturday wasn't terribly active, and nor is Sunday, although I'll have a commissioning entry for my new spiritual, paranormal and dream journal, which has been created out of neccessity, although I can't explain for reasons here.

Moving onto Sunday though, I've started to organise my room some, and laundry has been put on the back burner till tomorrow now, considering I have no will to go out, although I may have to anyway for dinner.  And, if I can get myself out for about 8pm, I can do a single load of laundry, which is much-needed at this point!  Anyway, onto more trivial things now, and I've been scouring eBay for Planescape Torment and Star Trek Innerspace toys.  I also have plans to sell off Commandos, Unreal Tournament 2004, Die Hard 3 and Baldur's Gate II, once I find the manuals and CD and DVD for it, as they're all spare at the moment.  All I have for BG2 is the box and reference card, which is a start, but seriously isn't gonna make any money for me at the end of the day.

Anyway, today I'll have a few things to do, like laundry and shopping, and I also need to pop over to Uni to get stuff sorted... it never ends!  Either way, I hope this year, I don't have to worry about stolen food, and I never did get the money back from my former flatmate either.... and he had the cheek to ask me for my PS2 to borrow!  But yeah, with the new flatmates in, and as at least one is female, I don't walk around topless like I used to, and I imagine I can't pull off stuff I used to be able to in an all-male flat.  Either way, I need to organise my room some more, get stuff out of the way, and hope to god my parcel hasn't been shipped off to the USA, although it's possible that as I've been such a good resident, they may have kept it for me.  We'll see later on today though...
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
Wow, I'm finally home, and it's such a mixed bag to come home to as well.  First of all, I come home to  darkness, and find that the kitchen has been cleaned up.  Then I start everything up again, only to find that I have no internet, meaning I have no way to check anything, be it email or even journal entries!  I do have mobile phone internet, which I'll prolly use, but I think a damper will be lack of proper access.  I intend to see if Residential is open tomorrow so I can get internet back, or at least attempt to.  In the meantime, I'm giving my room a tidy, so I can get stuff out of the way.  Additionally, I'm doing my laundry (tomorrow), moving my boxes about (tonight), doing shopping (tomorrow) and selling some games/DVDs (tomorrow), then I'll finish with doing washing up, because my stuff has been put away in a bin bag, and mixed with my flatmate's (as he never washed up, damn him!)... so I'm not happy.  AND, to top it all off, someone took the shelf off of my sink :|

Note: I actually slept the whole night after this, so part 2 will be for the 22nd... although it would have been if I wasn't all over the place.  I'll post up an entry today (the 23rd).

I'm going home on Thursday, sod the drinks... I'm getting the guitar, charging up and going, lol

I have stuffs to do ^_^
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
So there's really not a lot for me to say... desktop is still fucked, even after my mate had a look at it... we're both figuring it's the graphics card is on its way out, seeing as the screen garbles up still, which is a pain in the arse.  I've been doing feck all this week, although it looks like I'll be heading home early... thinking of getting a guitar, case and tuner for 60 Euros from Lidl, which is 40 pounds, which I think is good value, and it means I've saved myself some money.  Computer-wise, I'm thinking of updating components for all 3 computers at the moment, though more on that when I get to London, which I am seriously thinking of leaving for on Thursday, after I charged up my iPod.  I never got my Irish mobile's charger back, although I plan to in December, along with going out drinking with Buttzy, and people from the paranormal group on Boards and someone in N. Ireland from UKCB, as well as an investigation.  That's my Xmas hols kinda sorted!

Anyway, when I get back to London, I plan to tidy my room, as well as getting myself into a fitness plan, and also I want to get a bike... guitar can wait till next year, I want to get myseolf and my room sorted out first, then the real stuff can begin.  More later, need to finish before the PC crashes...
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
Okay, so I'm still on my mum's laptop, and I'm bringing an update... a proper one this time.  I never went to Northern Ireland because I woke up too late, and with the time I got up at, I'd have been there at 9pm at the latest.  Anyway, I wouldn't've had the money to go anyway, given I ran out after 2 drinks for Buttzy's birthday night.  He's off out tonight in Naas, given he couldn't afford Carlow as he was after spending 90 quid last night!  Sadly, I can't go out tonight, but I'm working on going out next week, and the same with Northern Ireland.  Nothing to report really, save for the fact I can spend an extra week in Ireland, as I'm not due in for re-induction till the 25th, though I plan on leaving on Friday or Saturday.  I also need to wrap up stuff here, though thankfully, my Irish bank accounts are resolved, so that's one less worry, especially as dealing with it now means that instead of E800+ over 2 years for paying back my credit card, it was a little over E400, which is good.

On the subject of sorting out my life, I decided a couple days ago to get myself fitter, and bring my stomach down, after seeing a program on some girl bringing down her weight and other stuff and living longer.... then tere was also What Not To Wear.  I also found out today that 39% of Irish people are overweight and 18% are clinically obese.  Anyway, when I get back to London, I have plans to improve myself for the new academic year.  Will detail more later, after CSI.
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
Well, I don't believe it... I managed to get my PC to work!  The problem was space issues... which was totally bizarre!

Anyway, these past few days have been spent resting, and I never went on the investigation unfortunately because of lack of people, and the past few days have been quiet, which makes a nice change.  Anyway, tis mum's birthday tomorrow, and this week it's also my mate Buttzy's birthday, and I'll be going out for that.  Also plan on going out to Northern Ireland for one day, seeing as I promised someone I'd be in Naass over Xmas, but I wasn't.  Anyway, I'm going back on Saturday now to cater for this and this is the only trip I'll prolly be making.  I plan on seeing other people (excepting Buttzy) in December, although I could swing it so that I see Finny on Friday for a quick catchup... so maybe I can get this to work out after all... but we'll see.  I'll give him a call though.  Mum is away on the weekend, meaning I'll have to get myself up on Saturday, and be at Connolly for 9:30am >.>

Anyway, I'll need to start preparing for tomorrow (it is Wednesday!) later on...
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
Okay then, I have some updates.  First of all, due to lack of money, I never went to the spiritualist church thingy in the end, and I decided to save my money for an emergency.  Weekend was practically wasted due to lack of money, but oh well.  Monday didsn't really hold much in the way of accomplishment either, although I did get 30 (out of 35) quid my flatmate owes me, which is a good start.  I also found somewhere to get my digital camera instantly, and for 100 quid plus locally as well, score :D  Linky here.  Tomorrow I'll be calling up the insurance people to see if I can get the monetary value of my old camera, minus the 25 quid excess (45) sent to me as a cheque, meaning I get my camera for 55 quid, with deductions.  I also need to get the ball rolling at UEL with regards to recovering my money, plus I need to go and get the camera, so tomorrow'll be much more active, so may be an early night for me *gasp!*  I also need to top up my Oyster card, although regarding travel, I'll have to be careful come Thursday as there's a Tube strike on, dammit. :|

So yeah, gonna be busy tomorrow for sure, heh.
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
So to follow up from this morning's entry, I got myself over to Eltham and did my shopping at Iceland, went over to the cat shelter, only to find it was closed!  Same went for the PC shop, was a half day.  I spent my last 11 quid on my Iceland groceries, and lunch (or rather brunch, if not my entire daily meal!) at co-op, before heading home.  Other than that, I've done sod all... although I did pop into Eltham Spiritualist Church.. I'm gonna be dropping by on Friday to see a medium at work, which sounds pretty cool.  Other than that, on Friday I'll be getting a refund on my battery, and getting one from Argos Eltham, and I'll also be seeing Virginia and well, that's about it... my life is kinda dull at the moment.

OH!  I did get myself a new deal on a phone... my bill will be £9 less (£14 less standard) from OCtober, because I got a £14/month loyalty discount with Three, and a new phone, so I pay £21 for my current plan of 750 mins, 150 texts, 50 video calling mins, 50 MMS and £5 downloads, which is good compared to £28 for the 750 & 150 alone.  I also got XSeries for an extra fiver (£26/mo now) and also a Nokia N73, which I can use once I get it, so score.

Anyway, that's about it for now... not expecting Thursday to be terribly active, but I intend to organise my room for more space... especialy with the foodage influx.  And next month, I'll be buying cat food, to "eat".

I'll explain later, if it hasn't been explained in the last entry, but otherwise I'll leave you guessing ;)
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
So yeah, while I'm up writing about 11+ days worth of stuff, I'm going to bring this up to date.  Anyway, I've done my Asda shopping at this point, cost me about 94 quid, between getting stuff to fill up my cupboard and a couple of magazines and DVDs (Aliens quadrology was a steal at 16 quid!).  I ended up being gone for oer 3 hours, but before all that, while I was waiting for my bus, some 14-15 year old kid wanted me to get him cigarettes for his sister, which I constantly said "no" to, but he constantly pestered me, until about 20 minutes later, where he said that I was pissing him off, and that I was fucking him about.  I replied that I wasn't.  He also commented on the look that I gave him at the time, which must have been an intimidating look if he were to comment on it in that capacity!  The fire burns brightly once more in my eyes, it seems... which is most certainly a goood thing.  I did think he was going to go for me at one point (along with his mate, who in fairness, seemed decent enough), but he kinda left me alone after telling me I' be waiting for the bus a while, and that was about 10-15 minutes before my bus came, then yeah shopping.  I also got Advent Children, then got a taxi home.

Not really much else happened... so yeah, that's it till the other entry, which'll be before this one >.>

I decided in the interests of... stuff, I'm moving more recent stuff here, so here's a continuation:

On the camera front, I'm now considering the Fujifilm Finepix F20 (or here) as a strong runner for the camera I'll choose, and so far it fulfills a lot of what I need, which is good.  On Sunday night, I watched Interstella 5555 which is composed of all the videos on Daft Punk's Discovery album, which was pretty damn cool. Finally got to see them all for once.  On Monday night, I had my first saveloy, and it reminded me of a hot dog actually, also started to like spam fritters as well, and I'm also addicted to a drink called Rio, which is mixed tropical fruits, which is only sold in my local chip shop.  Anyway, today I plan on finally tidying my room and doing my laundry, as well as bringing back my battery.  Mum is coming up to London tomorrow, and I am looking at going down to them on Thursday, if I can afford it, so we'll see how that goes.  One thing I should mention as well is that I've been getting cheekier and more confidant as of late, which is good.  I should prolly mention as well that I have finally started to appriciate Madcap's Flaming Duty from Tangerine Dream.  It's also taken me about 5-6 days to write the entry to summarise what happened while I was in Ireland now, go figure.

Mum was supposed to come up Wednesday with my nan and 2 sisters, but she called up at about 8:30am saying that it was going to rain that, although I don't think it has yet, seems sunny!  It ended up raining in the evening though!  They'll be up tomorrow now (minus my nan - who hates London), which provides me with an opportunity to do my laundry this morning, shopping and my room.  Tomorrow I'll get that Fujifilm, seeing as it's the best camera for me in the sub-£100 range, especially with the high ISO rating.
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
So yeah, it's been 12 days since I posted here, and surprisingly, all things considered, not a hell of a lot has happened, but a fair bit has, if that makes sense at all.  Anyway, I had so much fun getting a ticket, I ended up departing at 08:30 Friday (the 3rd) and arriving at about 18:00 in Dublin, where I went to Tallaght, and got picked up from outside The Square and had a chat with him along the way.  Was supposed to go out with him for some beers, but as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a light!  The following morning, I woke up at 830am, watched some TV, decided to go back to bed, then woke up at 11:30, and departed at 12:00, getting a lift from my mum's boyfriend to Tullamore town centre.  I made my way to the station, then got a taxi the rest of the way, seeing as I expected I'd have to work the second I got there.  After I got there, I got stiopped by the security people, where I said hi to Mark, the head security dude and got let in, where I then went to the kitchen to make it known that I had arrived, where I got to meet Megan for the first time, and she gave me a hug, although she didn't floor me like she said she would, although considering many people were in the kitchen, that would be awkward... one thing I forgot to mention is that I was informed by Colom that I was late for my shift, although it was a 10pm-4am shift!  He was just messing with me though, so it's all good.

And that's pretty much happened between the entry ahead of this one, and the one before it where this'll go in between.  Can't remember what else, but I figure it's enough now, isn't it?
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
The journey begins.
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
Okay, sod the shopping for today.  I see no point in going shopping today when I'm going out tomorrow evening anyway which will mean I only pay 3 quid for 6 trips in a day, rather than 5 quid for 6 trips over 2 days... makes perfect sense, given I've got the morning and afternoon free anyway, and I should be saving money anyhow.  I do need to go and say hi to Billy sometime though...
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
Well, I've not really accomplished much, heh.  BIT Live 2007 has come and gone.  I got to meet a few people I haven't seen in a couple of years, and managed to pick up email addresses and phone numbers of fellow sceners, remixers and composers.  I had a really good night though, despite lack of funding.  I had 17 quid worth of coins, and that weekend drained me of most of them, as I needed the money to buy a travel card (1-4) and an extension, as well as food the same day I was seeing my guest/mate off.  I have enough money to do laundry, although I am still a bit irked over having to buy a 1-4 travelcard considering I had Oyster.  What's the point in spending money topping up an Oyster card when I still need to rely on travelcards?  Ergh, it's all fucked up.  Anyway, I got 3 free CDs that night as well, which was good... two of them were given free with entry to the Spitz, and one I got because I asked about what would happen to the CDs... as I would have bought one later, but the guy who did them gave me one for free, so again thanks to him.  I also got a CD-ROM to do with the event as well.  All in all, was a good day.  That pretty much sums up Friday, Saturday and Sunday... well, if you count the fact I've done nothing since getting back homer except chatting, DJing and listening to music/the radio.

I did have a chat with the bus driver on the way back home, and she told me the bus fare was going up to £1.50 on Oyster, and £3.00 on cash in September!  Although it was said in somewhat of a hushed tone, although at the end of the day, sooner or later it'd be found out.  Surely I'm not the only one who knows this?  But yeah, there's a renewed urgency for me to sort my finances out.  First thing's first, I'm gonna avail of the uni bus more often.  Secondly, I'm going to only use NR stations in emergencies and where I need to be somewhere fast, which is almost the same thing, but not quite!  Also, I'm going to use that coin sorter and start saving pennies in my bank account, as well as  recovering my tuition fees from UEL and accommodation fees, as well as depositing half of it into my savings account, with the other half as a cushion for my current account, as yet again I get to experience the joys of a bank charge... which reminds me, I need to also recover my bank charges, and prolly move the money out of the NS&I account that I have to support my current account.  I also need to look at organising my shopping list, and most importantly, knuckle down for uni!

I also need to get a job, or I'm going to be in trouble, because if I fail this year again, I won't be able to do uni after... worrying prospect, but I have time to get myself sorted, and that I will... or I hope I will. :|

Seriously though, now I'm settled round here, it should be a lot easier to get stuck in, and I can start and finish stuff sooner, given I know what's coming.  Coincidentally, I need to chat with my classmate to see if he's repeating the year.  Doesn't matter if he is or isn't because at the end of the day, I have to remember, I'm doing this for me, and no one else... although if I get through these 3 years, I do get the chance to stick it to my (ex) stepdad, and perhaps Chris as well, though Chris doesn't matter so much.  I'm not out to prove anything to anyone... it's just a bonus that I get to have one over on people who tried to bring me down.  And at the end of the day, all this will be worth it... no maybes, hopes, nor nots.  Just wills.

I coincidentally start counselling on Tuesday, so it'll be interesting to see how that goes.   Coincidentally, I promised I'd show Virginia my LJ.  I figured it can't hurt really... what I don't want people not in my friends list to know or no one at all in fact is marked accordingly, so yeah.  Anyway, been a month into the holidays, and things are starting to pan out.  I'm gonna go to Ireland in late July... till the 9th of August.  I think I'm booking for the 26th of July, but not 100% certain.  2 weeks in the summer this time, I do think that's enough.  Then perhaps later on I can go to Holland.  Need to sort out a flight to Jordan as well... although I need to get dates first, plus my camera needs replacing.  Just had a look at flights and the cheapest flight is over £350 in November!  I'd better get some proper dates sorted so i can work on sorting some cheaper flights!

Either way though, I need to start organsing my camera, as well as UEL and also I need to go to the post office.  Shopping will have to wait till I can afford it, but at least I have laundry money (for next week) and food to last me, although milk may be an issue. >.>
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
Well, I just called up someone who is going to look at my camera for me, so hopefully I'll be able to get a quote in order to get it repaired, so I'll be heading into West London at some point.  I also need to go to UEL to get money sorted out, as well as the accommodation office to recover my student card, sign a contract and explain the fire extinguisher discharge, so I'll be having a wonderful day out it, seems... I might have to put off buying stuff till next week though, although I do have a Southern Style chicken wrap which'll do for brekkie, yum!

After that I'll need a shower... need to keep in mind too that on Friday I'm again going to Central for BIT2007, and I'm also having a guest over which is cool.  That's really about it at the moment... need to check my bank balance though. >.>

I may need to break into my laundry fund in order to sustain myself for the next couple of weeks, will need to budget methinks... I have 30 quid, well 25 quid from that to last me a couple weeks, and I think I can do it, although I risk going overdrawn by 50 quid.  Anyway, I'll need to get going in a bit...
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
Like I said in a previous entry, the entry got eaten up when my net went down, so I'm going to start with what I wrote from the 15th, which was also what was recovered from the autosave, then I'll branch out into more recent stuff, although I'm still pissed off at having to rewrite everything all the same, as the entry was quite big, heh.  Anyway,  I'm beginning to realise that I have to check what I've previously written to prevent repeating of stuff, although overlap isn't really counted as a repeat, given it fleshes out stuff at a later point.  Anyway, considering I had a huge rant yesterday, I never really got to write about the wedding, what I did in Holland and why I had to book a new flight, as well as stuff that's happened since then, apart from me blowing up earlier, though that issue has since been resolved.

And all that pretty much brings me bang up to date, so all that's left for me to do now is start planning my shopping for today, and my laundry, and everything is hunky dory.  Also need to save up a little for the Jordan trip, which is a definate.  Should prolly get a new and larger memory card as well... which means I can take more pictures, though a new camera wouldn't be a bad idea either...

Coincidentally, with everything that's gone on, this entry took 5 hours to complete, so it's now 02:30 when I finished this, fun eh?

Oh, lastly, we ran out of leccy not long after I got back, which was a pain... :|
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
Damn it all... I just have to make myself go offline because at least one of my flatmates has wound me up too far!  Essentially, because I didn't visit prostitutes or smoke weed or go to any clubs, I haven't had the Dutch Experience.  Not those exact words mind you, but it does fit nicely, which is more than I can say for what happened.  I was also told to go die, but not before paying the electricity, though I told them they can pay their own fucking electricity.  Anyway, was also told that I left my room open (which wouldn't surprise me if I did, though I do hope I didn't!) and that there's vomit somewhere, allegedly my room.  I was fucking livid over it... so after one final outburst of "NOT FUCKING FUNNY", after being told it was a joke (a very sick one too), I went offline, but they still messaged me so I ended up blocking the person's MSN.

Edit: Additionally, I was told that my room was open (which it wasn't as I had checked once I got back) and that someone vomited in it, which contributed to my being pissed off.

I am not looking forward to seeing them when I head home next, as I'll be flying out today at 1900 CEST... getting home at about 2200-2300 GMT, provided I arrive at Stansted at 1900 anyway.  At the very least, I envision staying away from them for a few days at least over this.  I really don't need this sort of stress on the day I fly out... I'll be tired ans stressed enough as it is!

God, I hate my life at times... first missing my flight, then all this crap.  For once, can't I have it where I'm not severely stressed about something, be it exams, coursework or everything else? :|

I'm going to bed.
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
Right, had to catch a new flight... will explain everything later, so see you guys around.
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
Off to Holland, will write more soon... toodles.
stormkeeper: Picture of a wolf (Default)
Well, I finally got Tiberium Wars... the sweet smell of victory is, well sweet.  Of course, typically of me, I can't go into GAME without getting more than one game, so I ended up spending 85 quid (with a 2.50 discount).  I also got AoE Collectors Ed., Neverwinter Nights Deluxe, Dreamfall The Longest Journey Limited Edition and the Unreal Anthology.  This pretty much equates to 2 new games, and another phase of my footprint reduction.  I now can sell off AoE II Gold, Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Unreal II, and the 3 Neverwinter Nights things.  I was gonna have Icewind Dale instead, but the guy at the counter couldn't find it, which sucks, because I wanted it.  I need to look... I just had an "Oh crap" moment... I saw here that you can get all the games I have in one pack :|

I may have to consider going to Amazon and getting that now, instead of Icewind Dale from GAME... I hate when I find stuff like that out... stuff like this is another thing, heh.  I suppose I might actually upgrade to that later on... will wait till it gets cheaper first.  Either way, I need to get Heroes of Might & Magic 5 Silver Edition at some point.  I should consider doing Amazon before going anywhere else, it seems.  Either way, I may need to get a new copy of Planescape: Torment to replace the one that I've lost... :|  Real shame I managed to lose it, it makes me weep actually T_T

Everything in general is so much cheaper on Amazon though... I think I may shop there in future then sell off my games to GameStation... at least that way I'll make some money back, and save money as well.

On a totally separate note, I want to go to Jordan more and more now... it looks cool.  I want to check out Petra (as seen in Indiana Jones) and also go for a swim in the Dead Sea!  It would be a pretty cool place to go, I figure, plus a great place to take pictures as well.  More on that later though.  My room is finally starting to get some organisation to it, and I've got completely hooked on Amazon now, go figure.  I'll be looking at going there before I go to GAME in future, not to say I'll stop going there but at the same time, if it's cheaper to go to Amazon, why not? :|

Well, I finally got some motivation to start with my coursework which is a good thing, only I haven't started it yet, but tom... er today I will.  Granted, it's just writing on paper atm, but hey, it's a start!   Anyway, tomorrow I'll be going to Stratford to see my mate Billy for a few jars, and to talk about stuff.  I didn't go to that SE London thing on because I couldn;t afford to go, but hopefully next month, I shall be able to go.  Anyway, this Saturday, I'm off to Manchester, which I need to pack for on Friday.  Someone was gonna be coming over on Friday, but I dunno what's happening there.  Guess we'll see.  Anyway, asides from that, I have to go into uni tomorrow to discuss stuff.  Also, I had the entire day off today because the lecturer was ill, and apparantly, the PDP is all meeting-based, so I'll be arranging a meeting next week. Asides from that, I'm gonna be switching my hosting to a new server with the same company... which'll give me 50% more space and is $5.00 cheaper than what I pay at the moment... which amounts to $60/yr saved, plus I save even more because of the space and bandwidth upgrade, thus I don't need to invest in a VPS just yet for my hosting company... this also means that I can make a bit more money when I go into it a ferw months down the line, as I have more space to offer.

I am consolidating the majority of my sites into the new Stormhaven website, so the IRC and games dev website will be subdomains of Stormhaven, just like Blackrain and Stormkeeper are subs of Storm Rain.  The paranormal website, and naturally, the hosting company will be running as separate sites, as will a little project I'm organising with a couple of friends of mine.  I may also make a subdomain off StormServers for website design, but it'd be a full part of the branch.  Either way, I'm working on getting stuff sorted much better, and much ore together than the old Storm Netwerks.  I'll prolly drop the Storm Netwerks domain next year and go with Stormhaven Networks instead.  Sure, it's similar to the old name, but it's sufficiently different to distinguish itself.  The Networks spelling is kind of implying I mean business, plus everyone misspelt "Netwerks", so I may as well change it, plus it signifies growing up.  Either way,  a Storm is coming, and it's not like the pissy shower that Storm Netwerks was.  It'll be much better organised, and expanded at a slower and more calculated rate... but more than likely a few months from now, in the Summer, and naturally after the hosting has chanegd over.  This does give me a chance to start some things from the ground up, such as Storm Rain Paranormal, and Stormhaven, though I need to back up the other sites.  It's gonna be a bitch to upload everything now that I can't connect normally, so I'll have to do it from university :|

So yeah, that's about it really.  Looks like I may have a little more money to play with this year, which isn't bad at all... now, if I get my website building skills to a decent standard, as well as Java, I may be able to make a few bob on the side as supplimentary income, which can't be bad at all... and once I save enough money, I can register the company and make money, though for the time being, I figure the money I make would be under the table-type things... I could always charge something for IT support as well at some stage, will have to see, mind.

Edit: Why not go the full monty?  Instead of Stormwerks Interactive Productions, do Stormhaven Interactive Productions?
